Come and get an early start on holiday shopping from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at North Webster Community Center for the annual Christmas Bazaar. Many vendors will be on hand with gifts both handcrafted and from “at home” party sales groups.
There will be a wide variety of reasonably priced gifts to buy. Concessions will be for sale during the event.
The bazaar is sponsored by the North Webster Lioness Club. Proceeds go to projects in the North Webster and Kosciusko County area. During the past year the club has supported North Webster Cub Scout Cake Auction, North Webster Lions Club Halloween Haunted House, North Webster Fire Department Halloween party, North Webster Community Center and the American Heart Association.
Membership in the organization is open to any woman in the community who is interested in being of service. Meetings are held at 7 p.m. the third Thursday of each month at the Tippecanoe Township Building, 102 S. Morton St. The next scheduled meeting is Nov. 21. Stop in and see what the Lioness Club is all about or talk with the club members at the bazaar.
NWCC is located at 301 N. Main St. (SR 13). Free parking will be in the lot on the east side of the building.
