The Whitko girl’s basketball team invites you to an afternoon of fun at the first annual Blue and White Madness from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9.

The event will begin at 12:30 p.m. with the chili cook-off and lunch which will be served until 2:30 p.m. Entry and set up for the cook-off will begin at 12 p.m. with judging taking place at 12:20 p.m. First prize winner will take home $75 and runner-up will be awarded $25. A chili meal cost $5 and includes chili with toppings, fruit, a muffin, a bottled water and Texas sheet cake. All proceeds will support the Whitko Lady Wildcats basketball program.

Gymnasium activities will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and will include “future games” featuring third through eighth grade students; “skills challenges” featuring WHS Lady Cats; “Legends Game” featuring WHS alumni; and carnival games on the upper mezzanine.

Admission to the event is a $1 minimum donation. South Whitley and Pierceton Emergency personnel, enlisted military, veterans and WHS students are offered free admission.
