Roselene Bolinger Brown
Roselene Bolinger Brown, 64, formerly of North Manchester, Ind., passed away Sept. 2, 2013, in Florida. She had been a resident of Orlando, Fla., and Davenport, Fla., since 1983.
She was born at Wabash County, Ind., on Nov. 23, 1948, to Paul L. and Eileen N. (Brubaker) Bolinger. She was a 1966 graduate of Manchester High School at which time she began working in nursing care at Timbercrest Senior Living Community. She married Robert E. Brown. He preceded her in death.
She worked as a nursing aid at Wabash County Hospital, and later obtained her degree with honors to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. In her younger years, Roselene enjoyed playing the accordion, ice skating and was skilled vocally and artistically. She loved Christmas, Elvis, flowers, baking and decorating her children’s birthday cakes. During their lives together, she and Robert shared some time at the beach, but mostly enjoyed being resident guests at Walt Disney World and Epcot. Sometimes they would go as many as three times a week to play, “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” and “Let’s Make A Deal’. Their home was filled with beautiful Disney memorabilia, some of their favorites being Cinderella, Snow White and Tinkerbell.
Roselene is survived by a daughter: Rose Garman (Michael) Doran, Springfield, Ill.; and a son: Christopher Alan Singpiel, North Manchester, Ind.; three grandchildren: Aja Blue Garman, Piper Sunshine Garman and Eric Tyler Garman, all of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Richard Bolinger and David Bolinger.
No services will be held. Arrangements will be handled by McKee Mortuary, North Manchester.
