Ronald L. Christy
Ronald L. Christy, 64, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5:32 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at his residence.
He was born on Sept. 8, 1949, in Seattle, Wash., to Charles W. Christy and Sula (Slagle) Christy. On Dec. 7, 1985, he was married to Wendy Okun, who survives in Warsaw.
He was a resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., for the past 35 years, where he retired as a Purchasing Agent from Zimmer, Inc. in 2009 after 30 years of employment. Ronald received his B.S. from Indiana University and his M.B.A. from Butler University. He attended Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, Winona Lake, Indiana where he led the prayer ministry. He was a member of N.A.P.M. and authored two Christian books: Zyglo Inquiry; and The Holy War of Faith.
He is survived by his wife; his daughter: Angela Christy, Warsaw; son: Matthew Christy, Laramie, Wyo.; and his brother: David Christy, Greenwood, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister: Sandra Christy.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, and will be officiated by Pastor Bruce Barlow. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
