AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley volleyball team wrapped up league play Tuesday night with a 3-0 home loss to Southwood.

Southwood, ranked No. 6 in Class 2-A, won the Three Rivers Conference match 25-13, 25-15, 25-12.

Caylie Teel led the Vikings with five kills and 11 digs in the match.

Kelsey Eckert had four kills and five assists for Valley. Anne Secrest had three kills, Lauren Early seven digs and Tenaya Shull nine digs and five assists.

Valley drops to 16-7 overall and finishes at 4-2 in TRC play.

Southwood won the junior varsity match 25-16, 25-15. Madi Miller had eight digs and an ace and Rebecca Murphy had three kills to lead Valley.

Valley plays at Bremen Thursday.
