Tuttle was arrested for theft charges related to a September theft from the Leesburg Liquor store. He was taken into custody shortly before noon at a residence near Chapman Lake, after he was found hiding inside an RV camper.
Officers preliminarily charged Tuttle with felony theft, as well as possession of precursors used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Tuttle was also found to have two outstanding warrants for his arrest in Elkhart County for unspecified charges.
KCSD detectives stated that numerous tips were received through both the department and media outlets in the last 24 hours, after photos of Tuttle and a female individual were made public.
