Hunter Education Classes Set For Late October
TIPPECANOE – A hunters education set of classes will be held at the Tippecanoe EMS/Fire/Community Building on SR 331 in Tippecanoe on Saturday, Oct. 26, and Sunday, Oct. 27. Anyone looking to attend are asked to attend both days, with the Saturday class taking place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Sunday class from 1-5 p.m. The classes are free.
The classes teach the basics of firearm and hunter safety, mechanics of firearm and archery equipment use, wildlife and natural resource conservation and ethics and responsibility. This class is recommended for those beginning or for those experienced that wish to further their education in hunting and equipment usage.
Anyone born after Dec. 31, 1986, must successfully complete a hunters education course before purchasing an Indiana hunting license.
