BOURBON – The Triton football team dropped its’ sixth straight contest Friday night.
Visiting LaVille turned back the Trojans 31-12 in a Northern State Conference contest.
Jeremy Jones scored on a 57-yard run in the second quarter for Triton.
Cole Creighbaum capped the scoring for the Trojans with a one-yard touchdown run in the fourth stanza.
Ethan Kertai rushed for 121 yards with touchdown runs of 48 and 25 yards for LaVille. Levi Lucas had 126 yards rushing and one touchdown for the Lancers.
Triton, which opened the season with a win over Caston, falls to 1-6 overall and 0-5 in the NSC.
The Lancers, who lost 21-10 to the Trojans last season, improve to 4-3 overall and 2-3 in league play.
Triton plays at Knox in NSC action next Friday night.
