Honeywell Foundation Creates New Fund To Honor Past President
WABASH – The Honeywell Foundation Board is honoring past president, Bruce Ingraham, by establishing a new endowed fund to provide at-risk youth opportunities to attend programs held at the Honeywell Center. Ingraham, who passed away in April, served 11 years on the Honeywell Foundation Board of Directors, including several years as president.
The Honeywell Foundation experienced tremendous growth under Ingraham’s leadership. Highlights from his tenure included acquiring the Eagles Theatre and Honeywell House properties.
“Bruce was a remarkable servant leader, and we benefited from his wise counsel, sound financial advice and his passion for our mission of providing arts programming,” said Tod Minnich, executive director of the Honeywell Center.
The Honeywell Foundation Board of Directors wanted to honor Ingraham’s legacy of leadership in a way that benefits area youth. The Bruce Ingraham Memorial Endowment fund will enrich the lives of underprivileged youth by offering free tickets to select Honeywell Center programs.
“Bruce spent hundreds of volunteer hours working to improve the lives of young people. Those of us on the board wanted to honor Bruce and find a way for his legacy to live on permanently,” said Steve Ford, president of the Honeywell Foundation Board of Directors.
