Beatrice N. Tutorow-Davis
Beatrice N. Tutorow-Davis, 94 of Warsaw, Ind., and formerly of Marion, Ind., passed away at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, in Grace Village Retirement Community, Winona Lake, Ind.
She was born Jan. 22, 1919, in Terre Haute, Ind., to George W. and Malinda (Davis) Nidiffer. She was a 1936 graduate of Central High School, South Bend, Ind. On July 21, 1936, she married James Tutorow in Jonesboro, Ind.
Beatrice worked as a packer for Foster Forbes Glass Co. in Marion for 28 years before retiring in 1984. She enjoyed watching birds; liked to exercise; loved to read; loved country music and especially enjoyed Marty Robbins; she loved her family (especially the grandchildren) and was a wonderful caregiver for all of them when needed; she loved life in general but above all she loved Jesus
She is survived by two sons: Ronald (Jacquelyn) Tutorow, Warsaw; and James A. (Marilyn) Tutorow, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; a daughter: Rebecca S. (Ted) Gaines, Greenfield, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Tutorow; five brothers: Charles Nidiffer, George Nidiffer, Paul Nidiffer, Ora Nidiffer and Thomas Nidiffer; three sisters: Ola Smith, Juanita Cobb and Mary Nelson.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Glenn Byers, Grace Village Retirement Community chaplain, officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Grant Memorial Park in Marion.
