The youth of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church are conducting a shoe drive to raise money for missions.

Youth group members are collecting gently used shoes that will be picked up by Fund2Orgs, which will then distribute them to people in need. On Friday, Oct. 11, the youth will be going to go out into the community in groups “trick or treating” asking for shoes instead of candy. The church hopes to have many people who contact them ahead of time so they can send the kids to collect donations.

In addition, New Hope Free Will Baptist Church is working with area businesses to have shoe collection sites. Their goal is to collect 12,500 pairs of shoes by the end of October.
