Dixie L. Rensberger
Dixie L. Rensberger, 81, of Plymouth, Ind., passed away at 2:55 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth.
She was born Oct. 31, 1931, in South Bend, Ind., to the late Clifford and Elsie (Crilow) Betz. She has been a lifelong area resident, living in Plymouth for the past 10 years. On Aug. 28, 1949, in South Bend, she married Loren R. Rensberger, who survives.
Mr. and Mrs. Rensberger were the former owners and operators of Rensberger Oil Company, South Bend. She retired in 1995 after 43 years of service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Plymouth where she was also a member of the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her husband: Loren; two sons: Daniel (Vicki) Rensberger, Lakeville, Ind.; and Dennis (Donita) Rensberger, Cromwell, Ind.; four grandchildren: Scot (Jina) Rensberger, Plymouth; Nathan (Elizabeth) Rensberger, Plymouth; Cliff (Charlotte) Rensberger, Battle Creek, Mich.; and Denise (DeWayne) Weaver, Middlebury, Ind.; and eight great-grandchildren: Haley, Zachary, Matthew, Sarah, Mallory, Colby, Kyla and Audrey.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Beverly Borkowski.
Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St., Lakeville, was in charge of the arrangements.
