Thursday Comedy Series At Eagles Theatre
WABASH – “Thursday Night Comedy: The Zan and Zany Show Starring Bob Zany and Zan Aufderheide (Live at the Eagles Theatre)” will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19. The show, held on the stage of the 1905 movie house located in the heart of Wabash, kicks off the three-show Thursday Night Comedy series. Comedy for the entire series is considered PG-13.
Bob Zany and Zan Aufderheide, an Indiana native, pair up in what has been billed a generational comedy performance with improv and audience participation. Zany offers up blunt and straight-forward style comedy while Aufderheide tempers her zingers with Midwest good-naturedness in what could be called “The Sweet and Sour Show.” Zany also has starred in a number of Hollywood films, including “23 Minutes To Sunrise” and “The Informant” with Matt Damon.
The show marks Zany’s return to Wabash following his participation in the “Bob and Tom Comedy All-Stars” show that played at the Honeywell Center in Feb. 2010.
Thursday Night Comedy (Live at Eagles Theatre) continues Thursday, Oct. 24, with Alex Reymundo, known to many as the audience favorite of the first season of P. Diddy’s “Bad Boys of Comedy,” and Thursday, Nov. 14, when Reno Collier, a former P.E. teacher from West Virginia and frequent guest to the Bob and Tom Show, brings his comedy to the Eagles Theatre.
Tickets are $30 for the series, $12 per show presale ticket, $15 day of the show. Tickets may be purchased at the box office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, by calling 260-563-1102 or visiting www.honeywellcenter.org.
