Warriors Third, Vikings Seventh At CGA
PLYMOUTH – Culver Academy served notice that it plans on making a statement this postseason and NorthWood continued its steady play as the one and two teams at the Culver Girls Golf Invitational Saturday at the Golf Club at Swan Lake Resort.
Culver Academy were led by the 82 from Lauren Read and 83 from Tavia Maurovic to shoot a team score of 348, a good 20 strokes ahead of NorthWood’s 368. The Lady Panthers were paced by the medalist 80 from Heidi Morganthaler and 87 from Linnzie Richner.
Wawasee were third place with its 389, with a 92 from Elizabeth Jackson, 93 from Mikala Mawhorter, 100 from Aubrey Schmeltz and 104 from Kylee Rostochak.
Tippecanoe Valley were seventh place with its 478, turning is a 118 from Victoria Biddle, 119 from Alyssa Van Meter, 120 from Kara Eaton and 121 from Liz Van Meter.
