Iconacy™ Hip System Receives FDA Clearance
WARSAW – ICONACY Orthopedic Implants received FDA 510(k) clearance to market its RS Acetabular Cup System on Aug. 9. The commercial clearance of these products further expands the I-Hip total hip replacement system.The RS system is comprised of 2-hole finned, no-hole spiked and standard 2-hole acetabular cup variants. All three cups feature titanium plasma spray coating for cementless fixation in the acetabulum. The spiked and finned cups feature spikes or fins, respectively, for adjunct fixation and enhanced stability.
