A memorial bench in honor of Dave Lichtenauer was opened for public use last Saturday in Syracuse. It was a gift to the Syracuse-Wawasee Trails and sets on the boardwalk along Pickwick Drive.

Made in Syracuse by Poly-wood Inc. and obtained through the local furniture store, The Living Quarters, the bench overlooks Mud Lake marsh. A plaque is attached to the railing by the bench that reads: “In memory of Dave Lichtenauer, a true friend of our lakes community.”
