Members of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department are currently investigating a burglary that took place early this morning at an area restaurant.
According to police, at approximately 1:49 a.m. members of the KCSD were dispatched to the Barbee Landing, located at 3687 N. Barbee Rd., Warsaw, in reference to an alarm having been set off. Upon arrival to the business, police found that the door had been forced open with what appears to be a jimmy/pry tool or device.
Upon further inspection, police discovered $2,000 in cash had been stolen from the business.
KCSD Sgt. Chad Hill stated that the investigation is still ongoing at this time and that the business was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
