SPO Making Worldwide Headlines
Now, as StaceyPageOnline.com celebrates just 17 months in operation as Kosciusko County’s most “liked” news source, the record number of views and even worldwide recognition continues.
Last week, StaceyPageOnline.com was contacted by a news producer with ABC World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer. ABC asked to use – with credit – photos, video and information from our in-depth coverage of the May 22 crash involving four Wawasee School buses (See story). The producers tell us the segment is set to air this evening on ABC World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer at 6:30 p.m.
Last year, in its infancy, StaceyPageOnline.com earned an honorable mention in the prestigious international contest hosted by Editor & Publisher. A panel of 68 judges voted and selected the 2012 EPPY™ Award finalists. StaceyPageOnline.com was one of the five finalists in the Best News Website division of those websites with less than 1 million unique visitors per month. The site ultimately earned honorable mention (See story).
As we continue to grow and develop StaceyPageOnline.com, we are realizing continued success. We owe it to our readers and our advertisers who continue to make it all possible.
We are proud to note that the week of Aug. 25-31 saw the highest traffic week to date for StaceyPageOnline.com with 579,071 pageviews and over 40,900 unique visitors who made 101,995 visits to the news site. Those numbers shatter previous records and we can only give the credit to those who continue to spread the word about our free online digital daily newspaper, and to our advertisers who make it all possible.
