Warsaw Police Investigating Alleged Shooting
Warsaw Police investigators are looking into a reported shooting that occurred late last night.
According to Warsaw Police Lt. Kip Shuter, officers were called at about 9:52 p.m. Sunday to 1821 Sue Ave. Four males at the residence said they were outside when a white male, driving a silver Honda Civic, drove up and displayed a handgun. The victims say a female passenger was also present in the vehicle.
The four males yelled at the unknown driver and the Honda left the area. The four males then got into their car and followed the Honda to Lake Street. Near Pizza King on Lake Street the Honda pulled into the parking lot with the four men following. It was at that time when the victims say the driver stuck his arm out the window with the gun and fired a shot. The Honda then fled westbound on Lake Street and the four males returned to Sue Avenue and called for police.
The Honda was not located, but the incident is still under investigation.
