INDOT Begins SR 13 Asphalt Resurfacing
The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced asphalt resurfacing work has begun on SR 13 in Syracuse, between Harkless Drive and County Line Road (CR 1400 North).
During daytime hours, there will be intermittent lane restrictions under the direction of flaggers and/or arrowboards, barrels and cones. Motorists should be aware of milling and paving machines, merging construction traffic and shoulder work. The restrictions are expected to lift each night.
The entire project is scheduled to be complete by the end of October. The contract was awarded to Phend and Brown, Milford, based on the low bid of $748,000.
INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
