Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following accidents:
Wednesday, Aug. 14, 8:17 p.m. Lake City Highway and South 250 East, Warsaw. Drivers: Theresa A. Clark, 53, Indian Trail, Warsaw; and Cole J. Graham, 17, Pine Cone Lane, Warsaw. Officers were called to a report of a power outage at the intersection and, while police cars were parked in the intersection with lights activated to assist motorists until INDOT could repair the stoplight, Clark disregarded the police vehicles and struck Graham’s vehicle, which was northbound through the intersection. Damages: up to $10,000
Wednesday, Aug. 14, 4:48 p.m. Lake City Highway and Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Ryan W. Faulkner, 30, Walnut Creek Boulevard, Warsaw; Robert D. Watson, 42, M Dee Acres, Nappanee; Austin B. Wagner, 28, Windsor Drive, Churubusco; and Tammy M. Conliff, 36, South SR 19, Akron. Faulkner said he was westbound on Lake City Highway and had looked away from the road. When he looked back, he saw traffic was stopped, but was not able to stop before striking Watson’s vehicle. The collision resulted in a chain reaction collision. Watson complained of neck pain. Damages: up to $50,000
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following accident:
Wednesday, Aug. 14, 4:22 p.m. North SR 15 and West 350 North, Warsaw. Drivers: Buddy E. Kuczewski, 66, North Old SR 15, Leesburg; and Erika M. Green, 22, South Cherry Creek Lane, Warsaw. Kuczewski said he looked down and when he looked up he saw traffic had stopped in front of him. He was unable to avoid hitting the back of Green’s vehicle. Damages: up to $10,000
Syracuse Police Department
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following accident:
Thursday, Aug. 15, 5:20 a.m. South Huntington Street and CR 1300 North, Syracuse. Driver: Drew A. Rosenberry, . Rosenberry stopped at the intersection but failed to see an approaching bicyclist and pulled into his path. Robert D. Bowers of Syracuse collided with the driver’s side door of the vehicle. Bowers refused medical attention. Damages: up to $1,000
