Claypool United Methodist Church invites the public to come hear Dane Bailey, “The Singing Auctioneer,” at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18.

In 1969, Bailey felt a call to the ministry. In 1975, he started seminary at Grace Theological Seminary, Winona Lake, and that fall, he performed his first concert. Since then, he has been traveling, ministering and entertaining at churches, conferences, conventions, fairs, festivals, campgrounds, restaurants and banquets, as well as on radio and television.

The event will feature refreshments following the program and a love offering will be collected. The church is located at 302 E. Section St., Claypool.
