“A Salute to Indiana Composers” will highlight Cole Porter to Hoagy Charmichael, Wes Montgomery to Freddie Hubbard and John Mellencamp to Michael Jackson. Be prepared to enjoy an energetic evening packed with musical treasures and a little something for everyone.

Featured performers include: Tom Griswold, emcee; vocalists Cynthia Layne, Tad Robinson, Everett Green, and Brian Kelly; Steve Allee, piano; Rob Dixon, sax; Kenny Phelps, drums; Brandon Meeks, bass; Kevin Anker, keys; Sandy Williams, guitar; and Scott Belk, trumpet.

The event will be at at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, and 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Conner Prairie, part of Marsh Symphony on the Prairie series, located at 13400 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Tickets are $23 for adults, $12 for children, and $59 for tables of 10.
