Milford Public Library News
Last Summer Story Time
The Milford Public Library’s last Summer Story Time guest reader will be Heidi Warstler on Aug. 2 at 11 a.m. Heidi’s theme is “family.”
Summer Story Time is for the whole family. Thanks to a DEKKO Foundation grant, each family attending a story time will take home a new book to add to their home library. Come and enjoy some family time, listening to great stories, making crafts and a yummy snack at the library. The next Story Time will not begin until October, so we hope you can come join Miss Heidi.
Teen Event
Pizza Palooza for the teens will be on Aug. 5 at noon in the library meeting room. Any teen that has participated in the Summer Reading Club and has read 50 hours may attend. It’s the last big blow out for the Summer! Come and enjoy pizza, door prizes and the grand prize drawings!
Scrapbooking Club
Did you take loads of pictures this summer? Now what? Bring them to the library at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, to get them organized and then scrapbook the night away with friends. Bring your own supplies. The library will have the Cricut available.
School Registration
The Milford Public Library will have staff available at Milford School and Wawasee High School for students to sign-up for a library card. The card is available for all students in the Wawasee School Corporation. Remember, with your library card you also have access to free music and e-books. Sign-up for one today.
Calling all Kindergarteners …
The Milford Public Library will have a special Story Time for those students going into Kindergarten this fall. Join Miss Julie as she reads books about Kindergarten and what to expect on your first day of school. There will be door prizes!
