Clair F. Miller
Clair F. Miller, 92, of Goshen, Ind., passed away at 11:32 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in his home at Waterford Crossing, Goshen.
He was born April 27, 1921, in Roaring Spring, Pa., to Elmer W. and Ida (Brown) Miller. He graduated in 1940 graduate of Woodbury High School, Woodbury, Pa. He served in the United States Army 3119th Signal Service Battalion during World War II. Tec 5 Clair F. Miller was honorably discharged July 7, 1946 at Fort Dix, N.J.
He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County. He and Kathleen moved to Warsaw, Ind., in 1967 from Martinsburg, Pa. He married Kathleen Miller on April 27, 1947, in Harrisburg, Pa.
Clair was the co-owner of R&C Builders, was a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church.
He is survived by four sons: Clair F. “Chip” (Shelley) Miller, Quincy, Ill.; Kenneth V. (Jody) Miller, Bunker Hill, Ind.; Stephen (Lee) Miller, Warsaw; Randy (Deb) Miller, Winona Lake, Ind.; a daughter: Brenda (Bradley) Green, Mishawaka, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Kathleen Miller; three brothers: D. Martin Miller, Merle F. Miller and Irvin B. Miller; two sisters: Marjorie L. Helsel and Eleanor Slagenweit.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, and 30 minutes prior to the service, which will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, Winona Lake. Burial will follow at Leesburg Cemetery.
