Free Concert At Honeywell Center
Legendary jazz pianist Dick Hyman presents “Variations on Gershwin, Berlin and Kern” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, on the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater stage in Wabash.
The free concert, featuring the composer of numerous film scores, including Moonstruck and Billy Bathgate, is being presented courtesy of Hank and Louise Leander. A pre-concert brunch buffet will be served 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Eugenia’s.
Hyman, who has recorded more than 100 albums during his career, is a renowned pianist, organist, arranger, composer and conductor. His many credits as the composer of film scores include several Woody Allen films, including Bullets Over Broadway and Mighty Aphrodite.
