Kosciusko County Sheriffs Department
Officers of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Monday, July 29, 10:07 a.m. Robert L. Holderbaum of Syracuse reported finding his mother in her bed unresponsive.
- Sunday, July 28, 8:02 p.m. Garrett S. Leckrone of Warsaw reported theft of prescription medications.
- Sunday July 28, 8:41 p.m. Max E. Deatsman of Warsaw reported that a car ran off the road and was in a cornfield near his residence.
- Sunday, July 28, 1:52 p.m. Kevin G. Gilbert of Leesburg reported theft of his vehicle.
- Sunday, July 28, 10:15 p.m. Robert and Maria Delafuente of Milford reported a runaway. The case is still under investigation.
- Saturday, July 27 6:11 a.m. Cory L. and Daniel A. Kindig reported criminal mischief and the theft of money and internal parts from vending machines.
- Saturday, July 27, 6:43 a.m. Spencer Riley Mcosar, Jason Michael Schue, Brooke Nicole Green of Warsaw reported criminal mischief to soft drink vending machines and theft of internal parts.
- Saturday, July 27, 11:07 a.m. Walter R. Schwartz, Treva M. and Robert Salyer of Etna Green reported and theft of $200 in merchandise. A Port Clinton, Ohio, man was named a suspect in the case.
- Saturday, July 27, 2:39 a.m. Robert Delafuente and Juan Leal of Milford reported the theft of a central air conditioning unit worth $2,000.
- Saturday, July 27, 6:57 p.m. Employees of National Oil and Gas in Etna Green reported a gas pump knocked over. Suspects fled the scene.
- Friday July 26 1 p.m. Kevin S. Wright of Mentone reported a Craig’s List scam.
- Friday, July 26 1:39 p.m. Chris Patrick of Pierceton reported eight farm batteries stolen from his property. Value: $1,000
- Friday, July 26, 9:04 p.m. Brenda Jones of Leesburg reported theft of jewelry.
- Friday, July 26, 9:31 p.m. Jeffery and Tanesha Rhoades of North Webster reported the theft of a firearm valued at $250.
Warsaw Police Department
Officers of the Warsaw Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Sunday, July 28, 6:37 a.m. Andrew Spears of Warsaw reported his vehicle stolen.
- Saturday, July 27, 12:33 a.m. Warsaw woman reported battery by means of a strangulation. Britain Eugene Bolinger of Plymouth was arrested.
- Saturday, July 27, 10:39 a.m. Brian Lee Neher of Warsaw reported the theft of his vehicle. A suspect is being investigated.
- Saturday, July 27, 8 p.m. A Warsaw man reported battery.
- Friday, July 26, 3:51 p.m. A Warsaw resident reported battery by a juvenile.
Syracuse Police Department
Officers of the Syracuse Police Department recently investigated the following incidents:
- Sunday, July 28, 1:48 a.m. Cody Doyle Hensley of Cromwell reported damage to his vehicle.
- Sunday July 28, 4:11 a.m. Robert R. Marshall of Syracuse reported damage to his vehicle of $300.
- Sunday, July 28, 8:11 a.m. Vehicle reported stolen. Vehicle later involved in a hit and run with another vehicle parked at residence on North Lake Street and abandoned. Witness stated he heard crash between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. and saw skinny, black male get out of the driver side.
