Terry L. ‘Peany’ Kiser
Terry L. “Peany” Kiser, 66, of North Webster, Ind., passed away at 1:24 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw, Ind.
He was born May 5, 1947, in Warsaw to Ralph L. and Mary E. (Angel) Kiser. He was a lifetime North Webster area resident, graduated in 1965 from North Webster High School and attended Indiana State University. He was a United Sates Army Reserves Veteran.
On April 25, 1981, in North Webster, he married Janet K. Vanator who survives. He retired in 2010 from American Legion Post #253 in North Webster after 22 years of service and formerly worked in the RV industry.
He was member of the Masonic Lodge in Cromwell and the 40 et 8 in Warsaw. He was an honorary life member of the American Legion and Sons of American Legion in North Webster. He formerly attended the North Webster Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by his wife: Janet Kiser, North Webster; two sons: Keith (Staci) Kiser, Kimmell, Ind.; and Garrick (Dee) Kiser, Kendallville, Ind.; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded by his parents and a son: Bradley W. Kiser.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 15, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500 North, North Webster. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, at the funeral home with cousin, Steve Angel officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near North Webster with military graveside rites performed by the North Webster American Legion.
Memorial bequest may be given to American Legion or Sons of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.
