Storms Left Syracuse Without Power
A strong thunderstorm that moved through Kosciusko County earlier today left much of Syracuse temporarily without power.
NIPSCO reported a total of 2,400 customers were in the dark by about 12:30 p.m. The majority of those were in the Syracuse area. Scattered outages affecting only a handful of customers were reported in Milford and Warsaw.
Nick Meyer, media representative for NIPSCO, tells StaceyPageOnline.com that power lines were downed in the storm due to a fallen tree at CR 1000 North and SR 13.
Power was restored in the Syracuse area at about 2:30 p.m.
