Marjorie F. Walters
Marjorie F. Walters, 93, of Winona Lake, Ind., passed away in the evening on Friday, June 14, 2013, at Grace Village Retirement Community.
She was born Dec. 12, 1919, to Harry Walter Fisher and Pansy LeValley Fisher in Hartford City, Ind. On May 29, 1941, she married Leon T. Walters, who preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1988.
Marjorie was a graduate of Muncie Central High School. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Kokomo, Ind., and a long-time active member of the United Methodist Women. She also enjoyed the friendships made through the Kokomo Widow-to-Widow group.

She is survived by a daughter: Toni Overman, North Webster, Ind.; a son: John (Lynne) Walters, Saint Louis; four grandsons: Dr. Ryan (Kelli) Overman, Indianapolis, Ind.; Evan Overman (Christi), Winona Lake, Ind.; Bradley Walters, Saint Louis, Mo.; and Tyler Walters, Saint Louis; and four great-grandchildren: Julian and Piper Overman, Indianapolis; and Ian and Brenna Overman, Winona Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and son-in-law, Rick Overman.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, at Main Street United Methodist Church, Kokomo. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m Thursday, June 27, at the church. Reverend Nancy S. Blevins will officiate. As per her wishes, her body was donated to medical science at Indiana University School of Medicine.
