Crime Stoppers Searches For Sign Vandals
This week’s crime of the week comes from the files of the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department:
On June 17, the Kosciusko County Highway Department reported graffiti painted on county highway signs. Within the last two weeks, the Kosciusko County Highway Department has reported several county road signs also damaged in the areas of Tippecanoe Lake, Dewart Lake, Tri-County Game Preserve and Milford Junction.
The suspect(s) used a black marker of some type writing “SOSA” on arrow signs and stop signs along CR 300 East and on the north side of Tippecanoe Lake. Vandals used red spray paint and painted several signs on Hoss Hill Road north of Epworth Forest. Several signs were damaged or missing at the intersection of Old SR 15 and County Line Road north of Milford.
