Cuties, Juniors Crowned At Children’s Pageants
The Kosciusko County Community Fair children’s pageants got underway this morning and crowned a preschool division king and queen and a Little Miss Queen and her court.
Three boys and four girls were entered in the preschool pageant for those ages 3-4 years old. They were Charlie McSherry, the son of Jason and Allison McSherry of Claypool, who was 2nd runner up; Bryse McCrum, the son of Christopher and Santana McCrum of Warsaw, who was 1st runner up; and Charlie Bolt, the son of Jason and Wendy Bolt of Warsaw, who was crowned the king.
For the girls, Ayva Wood, the daughter of Doyle and Angie Wood of Warsaw, was named 2nd runner up; Bella Gonzalez, the daughter of Stacey Hatfield and Aristeo Gonzalez, Warsaw, was named 1st runner up; and the queen was McKinley Burton, the daughter of Scott and Jenna Burton of Claypool.
In the Little Miss and Mister pageants, which were for boys and girl ages 5-8 years old, no boys competed. The girls competition was stiff though with seven entrants including Courtney Brower, Lillian Chaney, Jada Conley, Trinity Hall, Jordyn Leininger, Maddy McSherry and Bryndelyn Wood.
The Little Miss 2013 was Jordyn Leininger, the daughter of Thad and Rochelle Leininger of Pierceton. Her court included first runner-up Jaida Conley, the daughter of John and Kasey Shock and Erik Conley, Warsaw; and Bryndelyn Wood, second runner-up, the daughter of Doyle and Angie Wood, Warsaw.
The Miss Teen (13- to 15-year-olds) and Junior Miss and Mister (9- to 12-year-olds) pageants were held Saturday evening.
Winners in the Miss Teen pageant were Jennifer Dady, the daughter of Shannan Stark and David Dady, Argos, Miss Teen; Katelin Ksiezopolski, daughter of Ed and Bonnie Ksiezopolski of Claypool, Miss Teen first runner up; and Allissa Brower, daughter of Chad and Renda Brower, Warsaw, Miss Teen second runner up.
In the Junior Mister pageant, Jason Dady, the son of Shannan Stark and David Dady, Argos, was crowned king.
Graycee Bussard Sands, the daughter of Ryan and Devan Sands and Eric and Dana Bussard, of Warsaw, was crowned Junior Miss. First runner-up was Tessa Ward, the daughter of Doyle and Angie Wood, Warsaw; and second runner-up was Bailey Elise Stutzman, the daughter of Tommy and Stephanie Stutzman, Claypool.
All pageants were held in the Shrine Building at the fairgrounds.
