Warsaw Autoplex and Kosciusko County Safe Kids will be hosting a Child Safety event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at the Warsaw Autoplex, 2777 N. Detroit, St., Warsaw.

The event will allow parents to learn how to properly install car seats from certified technicians to ensure their child’s safety while on the road. According to Autoplex, 73 percent of car seats are installed incorrectly.

Though parents are encouraged to bring their own car seats from home, thanks to a donation from Warsaw Autoplex, Kosciusko County Safe Kids will give out 15 safe car seats to parents who do not have the resources to get them for their children on their own. The car seats are first come, first serve, while supplies last.
