Area police are searching for two male subjects who may be responsible for a series of vandalism reports.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies have responded to at least six different criminal mischief calls today which, due to the similarities, all appear to be from potentially the same suspects.
Officers began receiving the vandalism reports shortly after 6:30 a.m. this morning. Most of the calls have been from the area of 2700 to 2900 E. Wooster Rd. and in the Joshua Drive area just outside the Winona Lake town limits.
Police say paint was poured on vehicles and some of them also had trashed dumped inside of them. Witnesses said they saw two male subjects wearing hooded sweatshirts walking in the Merrywood Trailer Park area in the very early morning hours and believe they could be potential suspects.
The sheriff’s department is asking individuals to call the Kosciusko County Central Dispatch Center at 574-267-5667 or the anonymous TIP line at 574-372-2494 if they have any information that can assist in the apprehension of the suspects.
Winona Lake Police Department is also assisting the KCSD with the investigation.
