Larry Wagner
Larry Wagner, 71, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 2:30 a.m. Friday, June 7, 2013, in his home.
He was born July 29, 1941, in Mishawaka, Ind., to Charles and Edna (Coleman) Wagner. In 1959 he graduated from Mishawaka High School. He married Merrillee (Sands) Beahan on Dec. 14, 1996, in Warsaw.
Larry lived in Warsaw for 19 years coming from Mishawaka. He also owned a cottage on Big Barbee Lake, Kosciusko County, Ind.
He was a mail carrier for South Bend Post Office for 13 years before retiring in 1976. He was a member of the Warsaw Moose.
Larry loved his family, especially his wife, Merrilee, the grandchildren and the great-grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman, built miniature housing replicas (including one of their own home), and had a passion for gardening. He and Merrilee owned and operated Merrilee’s Produce, and enjoyed camping and traveling in their motor home
He is survived by his wife: Merrilee (Beahan) Wagner, Warsaw; two daughters: Cindy (Dave) Britton, Bremen, Ind.; and Jodi (James) Davidson, Bremen; a stepdaughter: Laura (Carl) Sowers, Warsaw; a stepson: Scott (Laura) Campbell, Warsaw; 10 grandchildren: David, Sarah, Stacy, Nathan, Brittany, Heather, Branden, Matthew, Zach and Kayley; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister: Jean (Frank) Arsenault, Melbourne, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Robert Wagner.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 10, in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer, Warsaw Community Church, Warsaw. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
