Manchester Eel River Arts Festival Next Weekend
Manchester Main Street’s June 14-15 Eel River Arts Festival is just around the corner.
Friday’s 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. “Celebration of the Arts” Party promises to be evening you won’t want to miss. Enjoy delicious specialty treats and unique live performances from North Manchester’s innovative cooks and talented entertainers. Great news for those still wanting to purchase $30 tickets for this exclusive event – Manchester Main Street has extended the reservation deadline through June 10. Order forms are available at the Manchester Main Street office in the Chamber building (109 N. Market St.) or online at www.manchestermainstreet.org.
There will be amazing local artists displaying their work at Saturday’s 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Art Fair: pottery, jewelry, painting, photography, mixed media, and much more! This event is free to public, so bring the entire family. Kids activities include craft making, art workshops and face painting.
Manchester Main Street is featuring our unique local artisans in a new “Meet the Artist” online series. This week, visit Manchester Main Street’s website to find out how shredded asparagus inspires Janet Ecklebarger’s beautifully crafted recycled jewelry. And, be sure to stop by Janet’s booth on June 15 to meet her in person.
Both events will be held in the scenic Eel River Gardens overlooking the Eel River, in the heart of historic downtown North Manchester. The Eel River Gardens is a town beautification project designed and maintained by the Manchester Garden Club, located at the intersection of Main and Market Streets, next to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. For additional Eel River Arts Festival event information, visit Manchester Main Street’s website or Facebook page, or contact Renata Robinson, Manchester Main Street Executive Director, at 260-901-6045 or [email protected].
