Keith Wagner
Keith Wagner, 81, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013, in his residence.
On Aug. 31, 1931, he was born in Kosciusko County, Ind., to Albert and Ines (Hatfield) Wagner. He married Nilah Defenbaugh on Sept. 14, 1984, in Warsaw. He retired from Zimmer Inc. in 1993 after 36 years where he was a production manager and planner.
He was a member of the Warsaw Moose Lodge. Keith enjoyed spending time boating with friends and family on Chapman Lake. He also enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, shooting pool and frying fish. He was a Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan.
Keith was very talented in construction and recently completed several remodeling projects. Keith and Nilah enjoyed spending their winter months in Bradenton Beach, Fla., relaxing and going to the beach.
Keith is survived by his wife: Nilah Wagner, Warsaw; two daughters: Shana Wagner, Warsaw; and Sheryl (Mike) Hanna, Warsaw; three step children: Todd (Cindy) Thompson, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Tange’ (Mark) Haney, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Tyra (Todd) Barringer, Warsaw; a brother: Dee (Juanita) Wagner, Leesburg, Ind.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a brother: Kenny Wagner.
Visitation will be from from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating. There will be no burial.
