Karen Elaine Sanburn
Karen Elaine Sanburn, 55, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 3:20 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013, in her residence.
On Sept. 15, 1957, she was born in Warsaw to Ronnie and Mary (Albertson) Watson. A lifetime resident of Warsaw, Karen attended First Christian Church, Warsaw and worked for Owens Supermarket for twenty two years. She was currently employed with Meijer. She also enjoyed collecting cookbooks and Swarovski Crystals.
Karen was survived by her daughter: Amanda (Gene) Denz, Warsaw; eight grandchildren: Deion, McGillem, Shane Beverly, Zackary Saint, Shia Denz, Jazzmine Denz, Ariel Denz, Gene Denz IV and Daniel Haab all of Warsaw; two brothers: Wayne (Julie) Watson, Sidney, Ind.; and Robert (Kim) Watson, North Manchester, Ind.; and her best friend: Chris Sanburn.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Larry Watson; and two uncles: Roger Albertson and John Hicks.
Visitation hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service wil be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Boschain officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
