Connie Fannin
Connie Fannin, 66, of North Webster, Ind., passed away at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013, in Mason Health Care and Rehabilitation, Warsaw.
On March 4, 1947, she was born in Warsaw, Ind., to William F. and Carol Sue (Shambarger) Long. Connie had lived in Florida for several years before moving back to the Warsaw area.
She worked as a beautician for Betty’s Hair Salon and then Zimmer Inc., Warsaw, until moving to Florida where she was a self-employed beautician. Connie enjoyed spending time with her friends known as “The Hoosier Honey Bees” and also enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren and her family.
Connie is survived by her son: James “Bo” (Amanda) Fleming, Warsaw; two brothers: Allen Lee Long, South Carolina; and Bill (Vicky) Long Jr., Warsaw; her granddaughter: Danielle Smith, Warsaw; two great-grandchildren: Beauden Smith-Blessing and Remington Sue Fleming-Maze, both of Warsaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter: Rhonda Fleming Cole; and her parents.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 31, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with Pastor William Whitaker officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
