Duck, Down & Above at Maple Leaf Farms World Headquarters, 101 E. Church St. in Leesburg, will be hosting guided wine pairing events on Friday and Saturday, May 24-25. The wine pairing event on May 24 is at 6 p.m. and on May 25 at 6:30 p.m.
Chef JD will prepare five courses including duck, house cured salmon and tuna. All courses will be guided by wine sommelier Jay Fields who brings insights and knowledge to each pairing. Chef JD plans to involve the group in some preparation. The night will end with an additional fifth course for dessert.
Tickets are on sale now and will be available for pick up or to place on reserve at Maple Leaf Farms company store, Duck, Down & Above. Must be 21 and over to attend. Contact store manager, Ryan Walker at 574-453-4455 with any questions.
