‘Success’ Luncheon, Handbag Auction For CCS
One lucky person will win a freshwater pearl necklace from Chapman Jewelers during a May 18 event being organized to celebrate independence.
Combined Community Services is hosting a Success is in the Bag Luncheon on Saturday, May 18, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the organization’s Project Independence. There will be a handbag silent auction with bags available from Vera Bradley, Cinda B and Thirty-One.

The long-term goal of the program is to help clients develop the skills necessary to secure productive employment, and eliminate all need for financial assistance from private or governmental resources.
All proceeds from the Success is in the Bag event will go to CCS.
Tickets are only $15 each and one person will be handed a bag containing a gold coin. The holder of the gold coin will win the freshwater pearl necklace.
