Mark your calendars. Manchester Main Street’s Eel River Arts Festival is an event you won’t want to miss. On Friday-Saturday, June 14-15, downtown North Manchester will be enriched by the creative arts.
Friday evening’s “Celebration of the Arts” Party and Saturday’s Art Fair will both take place in the Eel River Gardens. Space is limited for the June 14 Celebration Party, so be sure to reserve your $30 tickets well in advance of the May 31 reservation deadline. Order forms are available at the Manchester Main Street office in the Chamber building (109 N. Market Street) or online at www.manchestermainstreet.org.
Did you know that North Manchester is home to countless talented artists? For example, Michele Graham is an accomplished photographer, Susan Ring paints beautiful landscapes, Carrie Sautter sells handmade greeting cards at One World Handcrafts, and Hannah Burnworth creates mixed media collage art pieces.
Manchester Main Street is featuring our unique local artisans in a new “Meet the Artist” web series. This week, visit Manchester Main Street’s website to find out what inspires Hannah Burnworth’s whimsical style, and how she traveled halfway around the world to discover her first love. Burnworth will be one of the many amazing artists showing their work at Manchester Main Street’s Art Fair on June 14.
Artists interested in reserving booth space can download an application from Manchester Main Street’s website. All applications must be received by May 20. For more information, contact Renata Robinson, Manchester Main Street Executive Director, at (260) 901-6045 or [email protected]
