KREMC Lead Lineman Promoted
Kosciusko REMC Operations Manager Kurt Carver recently promoted Jeff Moore from lead lineman to operations supervisor. Moore has served the members of Kosciusko REMC in the operations department for over 24 years.
Moore started his career in the meter department in 1989, then attended apprentice lineman climbing school and joined the line department. In 2005, Moore was promoted to lead lineman.
In his new role, Moore will supervise the KREMC linemen, service technicians, meter technicians and outside contractors. He will also assist in the development of yearly work plans and budget, schedule the daily activities of line crews and monitor the progress of work to assure system reliability.
“I am really looking forward to this opportunity,” said Moore, “with all the new technology evolving in our industry, this is an exciting time to move into a leadership role.”
Moore, a native of Warsaw, and his wife, Angie, have six children: Brooke, Brandon, Brett, Brittney, Brayton and Tiffany; and three grandchildren: Aislyn, Hayden and Cohen.
