Donna Lee (Weaver) Hamilton
Donna Lee (Weaver) Hamilton, 80, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5:51 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013.
Donna was born at her parents’ home on March 31, 1933, to Chauncey Michael and Pearl Weaver in North Manchester, Ind. She was married to James Niccum in 1950 and they were longtime residents of North Manchester.
In 1992 she was preceded in death by her husband Jim and became a resident of Warsaw. Donna was married to the love of her life, companion and caregiver Walter Hamilton in 1991. Donna was a loving wife, great-grandmother, grandmother and mother. She enjoyed camping with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Campground in Pierceton, Ind. She loved spending time with her loved ones, her dogs, Misty and Princess, summer days, crocheting, golf cart rides and fishing.
Donna was cherished by all of her loved ones for her quick wit, bestowing of knowledge and undying love. She will be sadly missed by all and forever loved.
Donna is survived by her husband: Walter Hamilton; two daughters: Rhonda Lewis and Cynthia (Sissy) Charlton; granddaughters: Mikila Cook and Madison Charlton; a grandson: Mason Charlton; great-granddaughter: Bailey Brown; and great-grandson: Nolan Cook; step-children: Mark and Lori Hamilton; Aimee and Jim Farmer; and step-grandchildren: Melissa, Kyle and Travis Hamilton; step-great-grandchildren: Bradley, Autumn, Ivory and Mollie.
She was preceded in death by twin sons: Terry and Larry Niccum.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 10, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Funeral services for Donna will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at the funeral home with Professor Luke Hunt officiating the service. Burial will be at the South Whitley Cemetery, South Whitley, Ind.
