Democrats Set Meeting To Name Chairman
Kosciusko County Democrats have organized a special caucus meeting for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, to name a new party chairman.
Terry Bartley submitted his resignation last week immediately resigning his duties as chairman. Bartley told StaceyPageOnline.com the resignation was simply due to personal time constraints. (See story)
At 10 a.m. on May 18, the Kosciusko County Democratic Party will elect a new chairman. Voting is open to all precinct committee men and women and precinct vice-committee men and women. Voting must be done in person.
Nominations for qualifying candidates will be taken from the floor during the special caucus meeting. Candidates must be in good standing with the local Democratic party and must be present or have submitted a letter of intent to seek the position no later than 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15. Letters must be submitted to the secretary via email at [email protected], or dropped off at the Democratic Party Headquarters, 417 E. Winona Ave. Suite A, Warsaw.
