Sheep Shearing, Llamas And Alpacas Part Of Island Weaver Celebration
The Island Weaver is celebrating two years in Winona Lake with a celebration on Saturday, May 11.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day, the public is invited to celebrate with The Island Weaver and the fiber animals at 807 E. Canal St., in the Village at Winona. There will be sheep shearing demos throughout the day and llamas and alpacas will be out on the grass in front of the shop.
Watch wool get spun on spinning wheels into yarn and then woven on a loom into a shawl on the front porch of the store. Try out some fun fiber techniques and get in on the free raffles all day.
