Police Keeping Mum On Three Arrests
Police are not yet giving any details on three arrests made Thursday in the county, saying investigations are still ongoing.
Bradley Waikel, 24, 550 S. Country Club Rd., Warsaw, was booked into jail at 4:20 p.m. on a single felony charge of “neglect of dependent of education causing serious bodily injury.” His bond has been set at $10,000.
Sgt. Chad Hill, public information officer for the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, would only say this morning that detectives are still investigating that case and are not releasing any information. Sources tell StaceyPageOnline.com that Waikel seriously injured a 2-year-old boy.
In a separate matter, Gregory Price Scott, 48, of 5737 S. Woodland Ln., Warsaw; and Carry Ann Faas-Sechrist, 40, of 5523 SR 14, South Whitley, were arrested on drug related charges.
The pair were arrested in the Sellers Lake area and were booked at the jail after 11 p.m. Thursday.
Scott is charged with nonsupport of a dependent and dealing in a Schedule II controlled substance. His bond is set at $10,000.
Faas-Sechrist is charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia and is being held on a $25,000 bond.
Again, Sgt. Hill says Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers are still investigating. More information could be provided later today.
