Dianne Kay Yoder
Dianne Kay Yoder, 62, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away at 2:53 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, in Elkhart General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Dianne was born on Oct. 2, 1950, in Mishawaka, Ind., the daughter of the late Joseph and Wynona (Grose) Sheets. On May 15, 1971, she married James Yoder.
Dianne worked for Crown International of Elkhart for over 20 years. She currently owned Joe’s Ice Cream Supreme of Syracuse. She was a member of Osceola United Methodist Church and was known for her outgoing personality.
She is survived by her husband: James, Syracuse; three children: Jeff Yoder, Syracuse; Jeremy (Dawn) Yoder, Syracuse; and Kristee (Derek) Erquhart, Osceola, Ind.; and three grandchildren: Emma, Andrew and McKenna; and two brothers: David (Wendy) Sheets, Cassopolis, Mich. and Jody Sheets, Elkhart.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, April 29, in Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, in the funeral home with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
