Milford Public Library Announcements
Please join the Milford Public Library for the third week of Spring Preschool Story time. The Story Time theme for the week is “Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head.”
Rainy days can be fun! Listen to Miss Julie and Miss Heidi read Rain! By Linda Ashman and I Love the Rain, by Margaret Park Bridges. There’s no better time to listen to stories about rain than during the month of April – the rainy month!
Everyone will make a fun, rainy-day craft to take home and share a delicious snack with their story time friends. Story time is for children ages 3-6 and will be at 10:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 17. There will also be a session at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.
Miss Julie read the children’s classic, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle and other stories about caterpillars. The children also meet Crispin the Caterpillar. Everyone made a caterpillar and shared a caterpillar snack made of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
Lapsit
Lapsit is for ages newborn through 3 years old. Miss Heidi will be doing finger plays, songs and reading books about creatures that live in a small, small pond. Come and hear about five speckled frogs, 10 splashing turtles and other animals that live in the bog. So hop, leap, or jump to the Library and join Lapsit at 10:15 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. You’ll have a ribbiting good time (that’s frog talk for really great)!
Nutrition Program

She will have samples and recipes for all participants. Sign up at the adult circulation desk starting Monday, April 15. You could win a great door prize … don’t miss this fun, informational program!
