Butler University To Open New Arts Building
Butler University is planning to mark the opening of a $15 million building this week. A reception at The Howard L. Schrott Center for the Arts is set for Thursday, April 18. Schrott is a former chief financial officer of Indianapolis-based Emmis Communications Corp.
Schrott is also a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis and practiced in Washington, D.C., and Indianapolis. He is currently an independent consultant based in San Francisco. Schrott contributed $6.5 million to the project. The opening of the 450 sear theater and concert hall will mark the beginning of Butler ArtsFest on the Indianapolis campus.
